Atlas Versions and the impact of the newest version on a running project.

Hello Friends

I am using WebDeveloper 2005. I need help in understanding the versions of Atlas and the impact of the newest version on a running project.

On25 august 2006 i had downloaded Atlas and have been using in my project.

1) The version of Atlas in my computer is 2.0.50727 (checked using Add/Remove programs of control panel) . The web sitehttp://asp.net/ajax/control-toolkit/live/ArchivedReleases.aspx it says latest isVersion 1.0.10618.0

I am confused please help..how can a old version which i downloaded on 25 august 2006 be 2.0.50727 !!!!!!

2) Can i download and use the newest version of the tool kit for my project which is already running with a old version of ALTAS...will the old code suffer? ...should i test all the web pages again ?

2.0.50727 is the version of the .NET framework - not of your ATLAS assembly.

ATLAS underwent some changes before it was finally released as ASPNET AJAX. If you switch from an ATLAS CTP to the released ASPNET AJAX, then you will need to retest everything and you may need to fix a thing or 2.

oops i thought 2.0.50727 is the version of atlas
