Hi all,
We have been testing Atlas on IE5.01 and IE5.5 and it does not seem to work.We get client script errors and postbacks, including on the sample pages inhttp://atlas.asp.net !!!!
The documentation states Atlas works for IE5.01 and above.
Has anyone else experience the same problems? Are there any workarounds?
Thanks,
- Rodolfo
What antivirus software are you using? Any browser settings protection software running? spyware/adware protection utilities?
I'm running Windows Defender and that's about it. I'm not sure what the other people testing are running...
Hi,I have experienced a similar problem although not with all samples. If I run the simplelist sample specifically page: "SimpleList1.aspx" then clicking on one of the tabs i.e. "completed" works in IE6 but in IE5.5 generates the javascript error"Object doesn't support this property or method". Attaching Visual Studio 2005 as a debugger VS2005 prompts me for the WebResource.axd file (WebResource.axd?d=VFwT20PF-j8gayQmUoylzzAeg-zYTMXKTTdN5x6ZoqzxB0KM1p9aEAKhOgoorbGLeUGOKjZwUEtbULZRU0Y_587HLAOAWgEiAgBufeeJqZc1&t=632799165960000000) which I can retrieve from my local web site but cannot save as it contains "?" in the filename. VS2005 unfortuantely will only accept files of type WebResource.asx?d=VFw......, i..e the file that the broswer is requesting.Does anyone know whether this is actually the issue, that is IE5.5 cannot retrieve the js file and hence the javascript error or is there some other problem? Strangley enough a simple update panel sample with a button that on click updates a label on the page works fine in IE5.5Note that I am using the standalone IE5.5 SP2 downloaded from evolt (http://browsers.evolt.org/?ie/32bit)Thanks in advance.
